Logan Baccomo ran for two scores and quarterback Casey Fox ran for one touchdown and passed for another as the Severna Park JV football team opened the season with a 26-7 defeat of North County on September 1. Jeremy Simon hauled in a 37-yard pass from Fox for the Falcons’ other score. Wylen Tompkins blocked a North County punt to set up one of Baccomo’s scores, and Brett Butz had a long punt return to give the Falcons good field position for Baccomo’s fourth-quarter score. Demetrius Powell had a strong game on the ground moving the ball for Severna Park, which got solid performances from its offensive line.

“I’m proud of our O-line,” said head coach Mike Wright. “They were going all day and making room for our running backs. I’m proud of our defense too. It was a really good team win.”
