Third-graders at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School treated faculty to a walk through history on June 6. Children researched famous Americans, dressed up as the people they studied, and created a “wax museum” for parents and faculty to explore. By pressing a button, visitors could bring a famous American to life and hear a presentation about that person’s life and achievements. Subjects included Amelia Earhart, Betsy Ross, Nikola Tesla, Harriet Tubman, Theodore Roosevelt and many others. Each student stayed in character while presenting facts and important dates from the life of their subject.
