Register Now For The 3rd Annual Taylor Wild Golf Tournament

Written by Colin Murphy | September 22, 2017

The 3rd Annual Taylor Wild Golf Tournament will be held on November 4 at 9:00 a.m. at Compasse Pointe Golf Course in Pasadena. More information on the event can be found here, and you can register for the event here. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Taylor Wild was a best friend, a brother, a son and a Marine. He was the teenager who wasn’t embarrassed to hug his mom at Severna Park High School while other students looked on, who pitched on the Falcons’ 2009 state championship baseball team, and who matured into a Marine with a swallow tattoo on his right arm. He was only 21 when he passed away in a military training exercise in March 2013. The purpose of this tournament is to keep his name alive and raise enough money in order to fund a scholarship in his name.

Over 150 golfers participated in last year’s event. Get together a team of people, or come solo! Come play a round of golf and support our fallen Marine. There will be a continental breakfast before golf and a fully catered buffet supplied by Glory Days Grill following golf. Food and drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are both included in the registration fee. There will also be a $10K Hole in One prize, as well as putting, chipping, and longest drive contests, t-shirt giveaways and raffles!
